The meeting was held on 1-2nd December 2011 and the papers were systemized in four sections:

I   INTEGRAL PROGRAMS OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITIES' RURAL ECONOMY DEVELOPMENT with 32 published papers,

II  REGIONALIZATION OF RURAL AREAS with 17 published papers,

III CAPACITIES STRENGTHENING – NETWORKS OF LOCAL ACTORS, ADMINISTRATION, ENTREPRENEURS, EMPLOYEES with 27 published papers,

IV NEIGHBOURING PROGRAMS OF EU SUPPORT TO DEVELOPMENT OF AGRICULTURE, SME AND RURAL TOURISM – EXPERIENCES AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR BORDER RURAL REGIONS' COOPERATION with 17 published papers.On the first day of the scientific meeting were presented the papers in main hall (I and IV sections) and small hall (II and III sections) and was held the Convention of the Balkan Scientific Association of Agrarian Economists. The evening was completed with visit to the monastery, tasting cracklings from Srem, along with mulled wine and rakia. After return to the hotel was organized ceremonial dinner.

On the second day was held the presentation of the IAE publications, and then the meeting of researchers on the project ИИИ – 46006 “Sustainable agriculture and rural development in terms of the Republic of Serbia strategic goals' implementation within the Danube region”. The meeting was terminated by summing up impressions from the scientific meeting, where were exposing conclusions on its organization. The international scientific meeting has gathered 253 authors from 61 scientific and/or professional institutions and there have been published 93 papers. Besides the authors from Serbia, also were participated the authors from: Austria, Russia, Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Republic of Srpska – BH, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy and Moldova. Thirty six domestic institutions were presented their papers, 171 authors and 61 presented papers, as well as 25 institutions from abroad with 80 authors and 32 presented papers. The papers were presented by moderators, according to the following schedule:

• I section -  Marijana Jovanović, Svetlana Roljević and Zoran Simonović;

• II section -  Vesna Paraušić and Anton Puškarić;

• III section - Marko Jeločnik and Bojana Bekić;

• IV section - Velibor Potrebić and Predrag Vuković.
